What must citizens know to effectively persuade state and local government officials on an issue? Last winter we invited experienced lobbyists and formerly elected officials to discuss the “how to” of effective citizen advocacy at state and local government levels, based on LWVWBLA Program Director Lisa Larson’s A Citizen’s Guide to Advocating at the Minnesota Legislature. The LWV WBLA has made this guide available as a public service.
